The Chicago Bagman, headquartered in a southwest suburb of Chicago in Chicago
Ridge, IL, is the official supplier of the WBBA.
William Vail, President of The Chicago Bagman, began this unique operation from
his garage nearly a decade ago. Upon receiving several requests to build "Bean
Bag" board sets from friends and family, the designs for the products offered today were created.
 The Chicago
Bagman operation quickly grew from a favor to a hobby to a thriving business in a 8,000 square foot facility.
With  several
employees, the boards are now machined with CNC lathes and finished with industrial sanders. Years of professional
experience in design and engineering has enabled William to become proficient with actively participating in and
overseeing the daily operations that continue to maintain his personal touch.
 William comments
that people are consistently in awe of the quality, safety and durability of his boards
being  offered
at the same competitive prices as other manufacturers' boards with inferior materials and workmanship. Due to this,
they just keep asking for more! The Chicago Bagman games use only the finest grade birch plywood. The artwork
on each piece is custom designed to meet client specifications, and the bags are double stitched with polyester
furniture thread to increase durability with contents chosen to inhibit the growth of mold.
Concern with the consumer experience is evident in The Chicago Bagman planning and manufacturing operations
from an executive level. Their earth (and kid) friendly materials chosen coupled with the measures taken to
ensure consumer physical safety while using their product is of the highest standards reinforced from the top.
When asked about quality, he stated, "My kids play with these sets too. We're a family business.
I started making these for my own family, and I won't produce an inferior product for yours."
Always looking for ways to improve, he stated that even though business has increased significantly, he still
hand picks each sheet of wood to inspect the quality to ensure grain integrity and that the grain complements
and matches the whole piece.

Just look at these boards and bags... beveled edges, stable and durable construction, quality lumber, finished fastening - no jagged edges inside or outside the boxes. In addition to that, we don't use adhesives or toxic materials. |

The paints used in the manufacturing process contain premium acrylic binders that provide durability and stability to allow your designs to endure the test of time. We select materials that are environmentally sound and are as safe as possible, making your designs earth friendly. |

The WBBA and The Chicago Bagman are proud of just how little material is wasted in The Chicago Bagman design and manufacturing process. Nearly 99% of our "left-overs" is reusable. As always, we continue to use non-toxic, earth friendly and kid friendly materials. Safety is our priority. |
